Chief Executive
Jenny Gower oversees all the work of the Centre and is responsible
for clinical, operational, financial and administrative functions,
and for longer-term planning of the centre's future.
Head of Counselling
Jane Brown holds this staff post and takes responsibility for all the complexities of
the Counselling operation at the Centre.
Training Coordinator
Jo-Anne Graham has responsibility for the organisation and monitoring of the different
components of the Training Programme, including the need to fulfil the stringent requirements of the WPF National Diploma and the
BACP Accredited Diploma course.
On the front line are our Reception, Administration and Security staff who will
be the first point of contact for anyone seeking counselling within the organisation.
They look after the appointments system, records, administration and security of the Centre.
The Administrator, who is in charge of these operations, is Gill Aftanas.
Our Intake Counsellors are highly trained and experienced counsellors who see anyone
seeking counselling for a preliminary appointment on a one-to-one basis.
The Counselling Team of around fifty counsellors have a commitment to offer weekly
appointments to our individual clients.
Our Clinical Supervisors are highly-trained professionals who work behind the scenes
with our counsellors to ensure that the practical, clinical, ethical and professional
standards of our work are of the highest level. All our counsellors are required to have
weekly supervision of their work.
Overall responsibility for the Centre as a Charity is taken by the Directorate/Trustees, under
the Chairmanship of Mrs Angela Guillaume, CBE. |
